STEP 1
Part your hair in the middle.
STEP 2
Section off the hair that will go into the braids. This doesn't have to be too precise but if your hair is fine you might want to take more hair so the braids can have more bulk.
STEP 3
Pro Tip: It may help to tie off the bottom part of your hair so you can get cleaner braids.
STEP 4
French braid the hair keeping the braid closer to the top of your head (where your part is).
STEP 5
Secure the braid with an elastic when you reach the crown of your head.
STEP 6
Wrap the hair into a bun and secure with bobby pins.
STEP 7
For a fuller looking braid you can tug at the sides of it to fan it out.
